Data on Demand

VRA serves the academic community by providing customized data sets on demand. Our data sets have been used in dozens of peer-reviewed publications and are made available for academic use at reduced cost.

VRA also supplies custom events, sentiment and structural context data sets to various government agencies and commercial entities.

VRA has maintained licensing relationships with global news providers AFP and Thomson Reuters for more than two decades to support research and development in natural language parsing and more recently sentiment extraction.

Our custom data sets are available in near real-time as well as historically to support back testing.

Operations Support and Training

VRA offers both software as a service as well as licensing options for clients’ use of its tools. When customers choose to host their own software operations, VRA provides a remote maintenance and technical support service that includes routine upgrades and security updates. Optionally, VRA hosts client systems to provide a cost-effective and fully-integrated maintenance service.

VRA also provides both on- and off-site training workshops tailored to client needs. Typically, these trainings are offered as train the trainers sessions. Another operational support service offered by VRA is work flow tracking. VRA can monitor the data collected in near-real time and flag issues that need to be addressed or implement data validation procedures into the systems.
