VRA Visualizer List Menus and Graphs

The Visualizer offers seven list menus for graph selection.

List Menu Name Description
Standard

Standard graphs present overviews of basic event counts as well as proportional event counts-based parameters; these graphs are then used to generate the more detailed events offered in the Civil Sector, Government Sector, WEIS and CCC and Overlay List Menus. In the Standard event count graphs, the time interval is located along the x-axis and the event count is located on the y-axis. In the normalized graphs, the time interval is located along the x-axis and the proportion is on the y-axis.

Select from nine graph types within the Standard list menu: All Actions, All Events, All Violent Actions, Direct Actions, Forceful Actions, Normalized Actions, Normalized Direct Actions, Normalized Forceful Actions, and Normalized Violent Actions.

Civil Sector graphs are used to display detailed event counts and proportions related to civil sector activities. In the Civil Sector event count graphs, the time interval is located along the x-axis and the event count is located on the y-axis. In the normalized graphs, the time interval is located along the x-axis and the proportion is on the y-axis.

Select from nine graph types within the Civil Sector list menu: All Civil Actions, All Civil Events, All Civil Violent Actions, Civil Direct Actions, Civil Forceful Actions, Normalized Civil Actions, Normalized Civil Direct Actions, Normalized Civil Forceful Actions, and Normalized Civil Violent Actions.
